About The Role:
At Walr, our Senior Data Analysts are the go-to experts for creating delivering client deliverables on time, to spec, and with top-notch quality. They’re not only technical experts but trusted advisors to our clients, spotting issues before they arise and advising on creative solutions. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-driven, highly organized, and ready to juggle multiple projects with a solution driven attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Use Walr’s proprietary data tools and third-party tools, to analyze and tabulate market research data, produce datasets that are clean and user-ready, and provide additional insights based on client needs.
Leading end-to-end data checking and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across datasets through rigorous quality control and issue resolution.
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, exceed client expectations, and consistently meet our exacting quality standards.
Take a consultative approach by suggesting improvements to deliverables, providing alternative solutions to tackle challenges and adding value.
Keep multiple projects on track, meeting all deadlines without compromising quality or client satisfaction.
Be a reliable, collaborative team player, ready to step in and support others when needed. Sharing knowledge and guiding fellow team members to help them succeed.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years in market research data operations. Solid knowledge of market research data and deliverables, including cross-tabulations.
Proficiency with data tabulation/manipulation tools (such as SPSS, Quantum, Merlin, Q software or similar).
Proficient in Python, using Pandas and NumPy.
Skilled in data validation and manipulation, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, well-documented work.
An understanding and experience of data weighting and its application.
Knowledge of advanced analytics data structures, such as maxdiff and conjoint.
Able to guide stakeholders through the data process, working collaboratively to really understand what’s required and deliver it.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience working with survey scripting platforms.
Exposure to automation or scripting to streamline repetitive data processing tasks.
Working knowledge of online panel methodologies and sample quality concepts (e.g. speeder detection, data cleaning logic).
Familiarity with tracking studies or longitudinal data.

Flexibility: Comfortable working across the UK, APAC and US time zones, with occasional extended hours to meet project goals.
Team Player: Collaborative, emotionally intelligent, and open to feedback, with a drive to learn and share knowledge.
