About The Role:

Walr is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing company. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to grow and develop in order to support the continuous growth of the business and playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the finance function including reporting and FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuringthetimelinessandaccuracyofweeklyandmonthlymanagementreporting submissions for review
• Completing VAT return and payroll processes
• Dive and own the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts in collaboration with the full business
• Completing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Building (with support/training) FP&A Models for use by the leadership team & founders
• Business partnering with finance and the broader business – becoming a representative for the function and providing value-add
• Pro-actively investigating incoming reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reviewing incoming information from other teams, updating reports, completing reconciliations, sub schedules and checks, collate and create commentaries
• Creating and updating supporting packs and schedules to set deadlines
• Liaising with external partners, proactively resolving issues and escalating as required

Desired Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc)
• You have strong commercial acumen
• You have excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
• Experience with international reporting & compliance
• You are comfortable in fast paced growth environments
