Enterprise Sales Director

About The Role:
Walr is looking for an Enterprise Sales Director to support the continued exponential growth of the Walr business via the identification and development of substantial enterprise client engagements. The role will focus on clients who wish to develop significant partnerships with walr involving significant commitments to sample spend, direct integrations with the walr platform and usage of our service wrapper. The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing accounts within specific industry verticals. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the commercialization of data platform products within the market research industry and with a desire to lead by example in a start-up organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have responsibility for the identification and delivery of the highest value client opportunities, defined as those bringing in £1m+ annually.
- Develop strategies to identify those clients who will benefit from and are receptive to the full walr proposition for industry verticals of focus
- Be a key member of a team who can generate large new revenue streams through consultative value-based selling, responsible for both conversion and immediate expansion of the accounts to set the opportunity up for long-term success
- Act as the voice of the customer within the business, providing operations and technology teams with feedback on the platform and wider proposition
- Work closely with the key account teams to ensure smooth and successful handovers to maintain focus on new revenue streams whilst leveraging the full opportunity from the enterprise accounts you have brought into the business
Desired Experience:
- A strong track record of driving growth in commercial organizations through consultative selling
- Good knowledge of market research disciplines with specific experience of selling custom market research, data, sample and research platforms
- Knowledge of and interest in the future of the market research industry and its adoption of new technologies
- A strong presence and experience with engaging senior stakeholders
- Confident with data and explaining the impact of that data to support decision-making
- Capable of leading on the immediate needs of the business within the context of our long-term strategic vision
- Able to demonstrate a strong track record of delivery on commercial plans and associated targets
