At Walr, the role of the Project Director is key in the planning, execution, and delivery of Full-Service Projects for our top clients. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record in client relationship management and project delivery, who takes pride in consistently wowing clients and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage full service and complex online research projects end-to-end: from kick off through programming, fieldwork management, internal and external communication, quality control, data processing, and final data delivery, on time and within budget.
- Leverage provided tools and systems, including Walr’s proprietary technology, to deliver online research projects for clients.
- Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency for questionnaire design, logic, and the general data collection cycle. May need to program or update programming of surveys in programming tools, as well as assist in data analysis and processing.
- Provide proactive consultation to clients throughout all project lifecycle phases.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment via successful prioritization, adapting to shifting priorities and timelines as necessary.
- Confidently navigate the organization when issues arise, following proper escalation protocol and providing consultative, actionable solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
- May provide bidding support and recommendations to account management team.
- May eventually manage members of the Project Management team, overseeing onboarding, training, retention, goal setting, and career pathing.
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in ResTech, MarTech, market research, panel/sample business.
- Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and deep knowledge of online quantitative data collection.
- Good working knowledge of SPSS ; survey programming and data processing knowledge a plus.
- Proven ability to quickly get up to speed on new technologies.
- Technical and commercial proficiency aligned with the research project lifecycle.
- Highly strategic and consultative individual with an innate curiosity and passion for the new and the ability to explore additional research opportunities with clients simultaneously.
- Experience working with global clients within fast-moving sector/s.
- Proficiency in basic computer software/tools, i.e. MS Office.
- Prior team management experience a plus, but not required.
